The "Family Festival" at Yedikule Fortress hosted over 180,000 visitors

According to a statement from the festival, the festival, which was declared the "Year of the Family" by the Presidency and led by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, with support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Presidential Directorate of Communications, the Istanbul Governorship, and the Radio and Television Supreme Council ( RTÜK ), lasted three days at Yedikule Fortress, with Halkbank, Türk Telekom, TRT, and the Natural and Zero Waste Foundation as main sponsors.
The festival appealed to participants of all ages with its rich content ranging from music concerts to theater performances, gastronomy experiences to children's workshops, and book fairs to stage performances.

🔹 AA Live for instant developmentsStarting from the first day of the festival, Hayati İnanç, Sinan Canan, Senai Demirci, Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu, Ahmet Bulut, Nurullah Genç, Varol Yaşaroğlu, and Hatice Kübra Tongar discussed the cultural and spiritual aspects of the concept of family through interviews and autograph sessions at the "Your Family's Bookstore" meetings.
Traditional arts such as calligraphy, illumination, miniature painting, and marbling were popular in the "Family's Art House" section of the events. Attendance at the "Family's Fun Spot" section was high for VR games, mini golf, bowling, and simulation areas.
A program filled with storytelling tents, recycling activities, character design, science experiments and art activities was presented in the workshops prepared for children and young people.
A gastronomic feast was enjoyed in the food and beverage areas that remained open throughout the festival, with a wide menu ranging from traditional Turkish cuisine to world flavors.
In the shopping areas, visitors were presented with a wide range of options, from handmade products to designer accessories, from family-themed brands to gifts.
In addition, costumed characters provided entertaining moments for children in the "Superbus" activity area, which attracted great interest from families with children.
Taking the stage on the last evening of the festival, artist Kıraç sang his popular songs.
The festival, which attracted over 180,000 people over three days, strengthened intergenerational interaction by providing family members with the opportunity to learn, share, and have fun together, and reminded them of the importance of family ties with its educational content.
